Temple Point Resort is located in Watamu Marine National Park at the junction of the Mida Creek and Indian Ocean. Overlooking a coral reef and its own private beach, it offers traditional Swahili-style rooms.

All of the air-conditioned rooms at Temple include a modern bathroom. There are views of the Indian Ocean, Mida Creek or lush tropical gardens from a patio or balcony.

A la carte or buffet-style African and international cuisine is provided at Temple Point’s Clubhouse Restaurant. Panoramic views of Mida Creek can be enjoyed at the bar, which serves cocktails.

Relax by the elegant pool surrounded by sun loungers or enjoy a massage or hot tub session at the spa and wellness centre. Many sports activities or excursions can be arranged by the tour desk or animation team.

Watamu is situated 5 minutes’ by car, and contains many shops, restaurants and bars. The Ruins of Gedi are 15 km and an airport shuttle is available for Mombasa or Malindi Airport for a surcharge.

„Derzeit günstig, aber leider auch deutliche Abstriche
Tolle Lage am Mida Creek und Ozeanküste, etwa 30 Minuten vom Malindi airport. Freundliche Rezeption, großer Pool.
Auswahl Frühstücksbuffet bescheiden, Saft verwässert. Man kann auch Frühstück à la Carte bestellen mit netter Auswahl, jedoch nicht alle angebotenen Gerichte tatsächlich verfügbar und Service im Bazaar Restaurant unaufmerksam bis kaum vorhanden, auch wenn mehr Personal als Gäste da sind. Kühlschränkchen im Zimmer kühlt kaum, Bett sehr sehr hart, kein Mülleimer im Bad und nur eine Seife für 2 Waschbecken. Nur 1 Flasche Wasser gratis pro Raum und Tag bei Tropenklima ebenfalls nicht toll. Zimmerservice schloss unsere Zimmertür nicht, wir fanden sie weit offen stehen. Manager halten Teammeetings im Restaurant während Servicezeiten ab - Pech, wenn man dann als Gast keinen Service mehr hat und ewig warten muss, dass deren Meeting rum ist. Insgesamt: Sehr schade, könnte ein richtig tolles Ressort sein…

Good
the location is decent - there's access to a very small beach from the hotel, but if you want to access the main beach you'll have to walk 15 min or drive. the pool is big and clean. breakfast is ok. good diving centre at the hotel. the view from lichthouse is beautiful
the shower wasn't great.
